I graduated in 1997 with a B.Mus. and 2005 with my M.M. in Jazz Studies Performance from the University of North Texas and have played guitar for over 25 years. I'm currently Associate Professor of Jazz Guitar at Collin College in Plano, TX, private instructor at FBC Keller, The Guitar Sanctuary, Alliance Music Academy and have been a faculty member of the National Guitar Workshop for over ten years. Recent projects include the Quintet, Quartet, Übertone, The McWestritz Exploit and the Dark Side Of OZ.

Play The Blues Summit @ NGW
If you are going to learn how to play the blues then you have to PLAY THE BLUES! This is an ensemble style class where you will learn tunes, jam, and grow as blues musicians throughout the week. Topics include blues repertoire, improvisation, accompaniment and leading a band. This is a chance to play all day everyday of the blues summit and get your playing deeper into the sound of the blues. I'll be teaching this class with Ernie Durawa (drums) and John Reid (bass).
